I have been super busy preparing all the paintings for an exhibition for the past months and as a result
a bunch of fine art paintings are already displayed at the "Arta 2" gallery in Craiova! Come to the opening this Friday, 19:00 and see my works and my colleague's Rodica!
I can't believe it's already May!
I have been very busy moving out to a new home and all of my art supplies are packed and waiting to be put to use, now that I will have a bit more space! It's still going to take a few more weeks and I do not have any shelves or storage to put my canvases and colors; I am pretty much broke and having new shelves for my art supplies it's going to get some time!
I am also looking for some work so commissions are open!
Meanwhile I released my first texture mini pack on Unity! I hope it will bring me some snacks or a coffee! Yay
I'm so happy that spring is coming! March is one of my favorite months! Yet I am so sad by what is happening in this world. I wish that people will realize that money are not everything and we should use them to make this planet better or to evolve out in space...

It's been a while since updated my blog, but many things happened iRL that kept me either busy, either away from PC.
Some health problems kept in bed more then I wanted. Physical pain isn't a great way to start the year and I hope this problem it's now past.
Also the exhibition I was planning to do for my UAP application it's now postponed. I felt I didn't had enough good paintings and I thought it's better to take more time to work on things and do it in the summer!
Right now I have around 6 - 7 paintings, but I really wish to work on larger paintings as well and get to a total of 11 paintings.
Anyway my Gumroad is back, for sometime it was stolen and I had no idea. I was extremely sad when I noticed and extremely happy when Gumroad restored it.
I laugh at the thief that thought it would get rich out of me. Dude you'll get but dust and dried leaves! I hope the thief gets caught so these things won't happen to other artists that are working hard to get a coin or 2 as a tip from their works!

And finally an update! Here's my latest painting, It's a combination of techniques and something that I have been experimenting for the past year. As you may know I find the acrylic pouring technique to be quite fun and I've seen some amazing results out there. Yet When I did it it seemed that it lacked focus. My pouring paintings were not what I wanted and I decided to use it as an add to my figurative work and now I am quite happy with the result!

Because it's summer the heats are unbearable... Sun always has been a source of inspiration, not just for me but for many artists. I love sun <3
I've been experimenting with acrylics for some time now and I love it. Overall I guess I am past the experimentation phase, haha.
For great results and to learn faster about new mediums I always like to work up abstract paintings. There's more room for being innovative and errors won't be judged so harsh. So combine the colors to obtain new ones, add more or less water to the paint, let it flow and stop worrying about getting things right because it's all about expressing out and being creative.
I'm happy with these new small paintings and I hope to be able to add them as prints. The originals are 20x20 cm & painted on canvas. They will be up for sale as well.

This is one work that helped me get over an art block. I had problems focusing and organizing my time and after some weeks of doing nothing that made me happy this spiraling watercolor happened and it made me feel good.

and also managed to put together a video I filmed with a borrowed web cam.
It's not an entire process though because one of my HDDs died and I think some recordings went away with it. Due to this unfortunate event this video is missing some parts. I decided that what I was left with can still be used and fast forwarded into this video.
I hope the process it's still enjoyable enough.
An ink of an older fan art sketch. There's still a bunch of sketches I have of her and maybe some day they will be reviewed.
I kind off miss this character, she brought to me some nice inspirational ideas and I realized that I should focus on my personal character, the one I am writing a book about. It's been many years now, that I've been working on that, I know. The first book is done, just need a few teaks and finishing up the extra illustrations I have in mind.
All set... all I need it's free time! :p
